Winx Season 8 Fan Art: Aisha/Nex — Finger Heart
I’ve got another Aisha/Nex commission for you! This one was drawn by DarkPrincess116 (www.deviantart.com/darkprincess116), a.k.a. Rin Solo (www.instagram.com/rin_solo/). She’s a Winx fan who likes this couple, so she offered her services because they need more art.
Cute, isn’t it? Also, I just noticed the “XOXO” is in their signature colors. Nice touch that shows Rin Solo’s knowledge of the characters.
Obviously, these are Aisha and Nex’s Winx season eight civilian outfits. I wish we would have seen them on the characters in the original art style, but this is close enough.
That’s it for fan art commissions I hadn’t shared yet. But don’t worry. More are coming soon.
In the meantime, you can see this piece and more on the Aisha/Nex commissioned fan art page.
I’m glad you do commissions of them, which causes Aisha x Nex getting more recognition.
If only Rainbow did a magazine cover with them only…
Yeah, I’d love for them to appear on a cover one day. But it seems like only Bloom/Sky, Stella/Brandon, and Flora/Helia gets that privilege. I also wish Rainbow would make another Aisha/Nex comic, since they only have one, but I don’t think that will ever happen, either. ?
I wonder why Bloom and Sky… I mean, I know that they are main characters but their relationship and their handling of drama aren’t that great. I also HATE how Diaspro was portrayed in Season 1 as “the bad one” despite Diaspro had NO IDEA that Sky wanted Bloom and that Bloom was the Trix’ target. She didn’t even know WHO Bloom is, yet was portrayed as “evil” and Rainbow wanted to villanize her just for drama with no sense, in later seasons.
And it was stupid on Season 2 when Bloom and Sky generalized “girls/boys are selfish!!” or something like that, along with the Avalon crap which of course was made up by SKY. But Bloom wasn’t better and praised Avalon WAYYY too much too.
Aisha x Nex and Tecna x Timmy are the best couples and had best stories for me.
The main couple in a magical girl series is always advertised as the best couple, even if they’re not. In Bloom and Sky’s case, I feel like Rainbow oversells their romance specifically because they know their story is messed up. Romance doesn’t equal love or compatibility, of course, but the writers assume the target audience doesn’t understand that.
