Something Else Aisha and Nex Have in Common: Piercings

We know Nex wears what’s called a double helix piercing in his left ear. It’s a signature part of his design (along with those huge sideburns).

But did you remember Aisha used to wear a piercing, too?

Check out these screenshots from Winx seasons two and three. You can see a pink piercing at the top of her left ear, the same ear Nex wears his piercing in.

I tried to find out what Aisha’s type of piercing is called, but I got confused. So I’m gonna call it a stud. If that’s wrong, someone correct me in the comments.

Here’s a Charmix/“Magic Winx” stock pic. The stud is light blue like the bracelets on her arm, but it’s still there.

Why do you think both Aisha and Nex have worn piercings? Is it just a coincidence, or did Rainbow do it on purpose? (I have my theory, but I wanna hear what you guys think.)
