Winx Season 8: Did Rainbow Hint At Aisha and Nex’s Royal Future?

Sometimes, a scene that doesn’t seem important might have a hidden message. One moment in Winx season eight that felt more meaningful than it looked was in “The Light of Gorgol” (Winx season 8, episode 9). Nex asked Aisha for a dance. After she accepted, we briefly saw them waltzing together:

Then another couple crossed in front of the “screen”, acting like a transition. Based on their clothes, we can tell it was Aisha’s parents, King Teredor and Queen Niobe, the current rulers of Andros.

Sorry for the awkward angle, Your Majesties…

The next shot was Aisha and Nex walking hand in hand to the end of the dock:

Maybe this is wishful thinking, but the way Rainbow put this scene together didn’t feel random to me. Was it a hint Aisha and Nex will one day take her parents’ place? I hope so. ❤️

By the way, technically, Nex wouldn’t be a king — at least not by title. What would he be called? Read this post to find out!
