“Fan Art: A Little Nap” Follow-Up: Aisha’s Hoodie Collection

I’ll be honest: I hoped that someone would point out the special detail in my second commission from J-Witless. So far, no one has. What is it?

Aisha is wearing Nex’s hoodie from Winx season eight.

I requested this for a couple reasons. One, it’s cute. Enough said. 🙂

Second, I thought it’d be a fun nod to the early seasons. Aisha wore a lot of hoodies back then. She had one in her debut outfit:

Remember how Piff was the only Pixie Darkar didn’t recapture? That’s because she hid in Aisha’s hood:

Aisha’s dance outfit from “The Show Must Go On” (Winx season 2, episode 15) also had a hoodie:

The jacket she wore in the Wildlands had a hood, which doubled as a baby carrier for Piff again:

And here’s Aisha’s rhythmic gymnastics outfit from “At the Last Moment” (Winx season 3, episode 19). I think this is the first time we saw her actually wear her hood!

Why so many hoodies? Maybe Rainbow wanted to give her a hands-free way to carry Piff. Or maybe because she’s the sporty Winx, although non-athletic folks wear hoodies, too.

Either way, it seems her and Nex’s tastes in fashion overlap. They’ve both worn outdoorsy clothes when not on missions, and Aisha used to wear a piercing like he did. She might have to fight him to put him in leg warmers, though. ?
