Winx Fan Art: Inktober — “Dark” and “Catch”

The first prompt was “dark”. I’ll let Mollz explain it:

Considering that I’m working with a couple whose theme is yin and yang, I knew this would be a good prompt to pick. In the end, I came up with the idea of Aisha and Nex shining light for each other in order to drive away their darkness. The darkness is symbolic for their character flaws, so I drew Aisha having a panic attack and Nex being smug and egotistical. But when they’re together, they bring out the best of each other, and create light.

Hmm…darkness equals character flaws. That reminds me of a Winx season three plot hole I talked about on my other blog.

Anyway, I love this concept. This might be my favorite of Mollz’s pictures. ?

“Catch”

The second prompt was “catch”. Take it away again, Mollz!

I wanted to include Renata in at least one of these drawings, so here. It’s that classic scene from every movie ever: “Daddy, I’m scared!” “Just jump, sweetie, I’ll catch you!” Except Renata is all about jumping, and is having the time of her life with this.
