“Um, Actually” #14: The Correct Correction

Did you find the mistake? Here’s the statement again:

In the first Sirenix arc, the Winx and Nex visit Andros to celebrate the founding of its kingdom. Queen Ligea and Queen Dorana create a barrier to protect Gorgol, the suboceanic star, only to discover it’s already under attack. The Winx and Nex go underwater to save it. On the way, they’re attacked by a giant shark that Valtor found living near the star and mutated with his magic. Sirenix powers can’t break the spell, so the Winx temporarily trap the shark in a cave.

SpiderBraids gave the correct correction:

Um, actually, Valtor created the shark using his dark magic. Towards the end of 8×09, Queen Ligea is surprised to see the shark swimming by, suggesting it is not native to the area.

That’s right! The giant shark isn’t from Andros. Valtor put it near Gorgol as a trap for the Winx.

But in the end, I guess it stayed in Andros. If anyone ever attacks Gorgol again, it might make a good bodyguard!
