Optimistic
This is it: the last day of 2018. By this time next year, Winx Club season eight will have aired. I feel like this is Aisha and Nex’s last chance to earn the Winx fandom’s love and support.
For once, I’m gonna be optimistic. Less-popular characters and couples have bounced back in other stories and have even become fan favorites. I can’t wait to have lots more fans to talk about and celebrate this couple with. ❤️
To those of you who followed me from Una di Noi Winx, thank you. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more resilient and keep blogging despite how I was feeling. Still, nine years is nothing to laugh at. Thank you for all your support, and I hope you’ll enjoy The Yin-Yang Couple blog just as much.
And to those of you who just started following me, thank you as well. I hope my blog lives up to your expectations.

If/when you succeed with making Layla and Nex popular, then I can certainly “embiggen” the fan base of Spirit Riding Free, Regal Academy and Winx Club. If/when you succeed with your main mission, you prove to everybody that NOTHING is impossible when you just fight hard enough for your dreams. I so hope you’ll be successful. Keep fighting for your dreams! ?
It’s time to return to the optimistic ways. It’s time to find your “eye of the tiger” (if you haven’t seen Rocky 3, check it out!). I plan on doing that myself and this time, I’m not gonna lose “the eye” again. I have lost so many years thanks to my depression but this year WILL be different because I say so! I’m not going to let anyone or anything ruin 2019 for me. The last year of this horrendous decade is going to be better.
So, here’s to more Layla x Nex, Winx Club, Regal Academy, Spirit Riding Free, Sissi The Young Empress, Strawberry Shortcake, Game of Thrones and all the other stuff I love.

Don’t feel bad about blogging less because of your mental health. That should always be your priority, and if anyone ever gets mad at you because you took time for yourself for that, then you don’t need them in your life.
I’m also hoping 2019 will be better than this last year, both for this fandom and in my own life. Optimism isn’t often my forte, but I can try.
