If you have any Aisha/Nex art you want me to share, let me know!
brilliant and i notice Aisha is wearing the clothes from when the winx used the stones of memories
Yes, the Fashion Gold line. I love that line, even though it was kinda unnecessary. ?
Was episode 24 also the episode when Riven left, or am I remembering that incorrectly?
No, that was the episode before that: “The Anthem.” But I guess since he’s back in season eight, it doesn’t really matter anymore.
The stones kind of feel like those that Thanos uses in the Marvel comics (and Avengers 3: Infinity War). I also am a fan of time travelling episodes. Maybe I have judged the season too harshly, because I wasn’t in a good place when I watched it for the first time in 2015, plus the death of someone close to me also had an effect at how I have seen things, so perhaps the 7th season wasn’t that bad and I just remember it that way (and memories are easily corrupted/manipulated). I’ll definitely give it another try one day. My TV doesn’t show anything Winx, so I might throw in some DVD. Sure, watching it on some TV channel would be better, but what can I do when the countless programs are too stupid to show the damn show? Not even season 1 is shown where I live, so that should give you a hint at how Winx Club is perceived in my country. On the contrary, Babybug is shown TWICE a day for 7 days a week on Disney Channel (fuck you, Disney channel ?)! Talk about the injustice towards Winx Club I mentioned in my other comment.
Fashion gold line?
The outfits the Winx wore when they used the Stones of Memories.
speaking of the stones of memories do you think they were a good idea?
I don’t know. Time travel is rarely ever done right, and I don’t feel like season seven did it well. But the Stones of Memories were actually introduced in a comic from season five, so if Rainbow wants to pull other ideas from the comic, I wouldn’t mind.
well we can only hope they do them better
well i read comic no.100 where the stones of memories originated
Honestly, my favorite thing about this is the background. Drawing backgrounds is really hard, and this one is amazing. I also like the name – it’s so adorable and fitting for this pairing.
speaking of Aisha and Nex
want me to review the episode where they get together at some point admin?
Sure. ? Could I post on this blog, too?
also please remember i’ll be trying to critically review the episode
Oh, don’t worry. Just because it’s the episode where my favorite couple got together doesn’t mean I think it was the best episode ever. I pointed out a lot of problems with it in my own review.
yeah was one of them how easily the Alfea champions could have been destroyed? cause i already worked out how very easily they could have been destroyed by Bloom of all people
wanna know how?
Tell me in the review. ?
well would Shiron’s water magic have been able to extinguish a dragonflame fireball?
I think her name is Siobhan. It’s an Irish name. And…probably not.
so Bloom could’ve absorbed ress’s fire and used it to incinerate shavon in one shot
does that make sense?
Maybe.
okay
yeah why not since i should do a season 6 episode but it was episode 24 of season 6 correct
Yes, that’s right.
was season 6’s writing heavily criticised? cause so far in episode 24 I’ve already noticed an area of bad writing concerning the alfea champions
In general, yeah. I think season six had some good ideas, but they weren’t executed well.
yeah i’ve noticed that i haven’t even got to the battle scene yet of the episode
when i get round to reviewing the muri breakup episode i’ll probably mention about Riven’s return in season 8
