Wanted: Nex Fan Art *UPDATE*
Yesterday, someone Googled “winx club nex fanart” and found my blog.
If it was you, don’t freak out. I’m not a spy. ? WordPress tells me what search terms lead people to my blog. (You might have known that. ?)
Let me guess: you didn’t find much fan art, did you?
Just like the Winx fandom rarely draws Aisha and Nex together, they don’t draw Nex by himself much, either. I’ve seen about 15 pictures (give or take) in the five years since he debuted. And I wouldn’t call all of them “fan” art, if you know what I mean. ?
Anyway, here’s a recent pic I saved on Pinterest: an edit of a screenshot from “Night of the Stars” (Winx season 8, episode 1). The artist redrew him in his old character design.
If you manage to find more Nex fan art, let me know. I’d especially love to see some where he’s dressed in his formal wear from season eight. It’s one of my favorite outfits he’s worn (even if it’s not in his signature color).
And of course, if you see new Aisha/Nex fan art (or make or commission some yourself), tell me about it, too. I’d love to share it on the blog!

I wish there’d be a lot more art of Nex out there. I even thought about forcing people to choose between drawing Nex/the Winx, or to – literally – go to hell should they refuse.

How am I supposed to pull a Jigsaw [the Saw character] on people I’ve never met? I lack the power a head of state has. I can only hope that one day Mother Nature will punish those who have deserve it. And hope doesn’t necessarily win battles.
…I don’t think that’s the best solution. ? But I hope more people will draw Nex of their own volition or would be willing to accept a commission.
As for punishment, I wouldn’t call not drawing Nex a crime. ? But I agree with your hope that evildoers will punished one day.
