“Um, Actually…” #9: Find The Mistake
Welcome back to “Um, Actually”! Find the mistake in the statement below and correct it using the phrase “Um, Actually”.
Today’s statement is about Winx Club character names. (Warning: this one might be hard.)
Some of the Specialists’ (and Paladins’) names relate to the names of their Winx girlfriends. “Nex” is a Latin noun meaning “death”, and the Arabic name “Aisha” means “life” or “alive”. The Old English name “Brandon” means “a hill covered in broom”. Together with Stella’s power source, the sun, it might paint a picture of the sun rising and setting over a hill. “Brandon” can also mean “prince”, and Stella is a princess. Finally, “Helia”, the only feminine name among the guys, is derived from Helios, the name of the ancient Greek god of the sun. Flora’s name refers to flowers, which need sunlight to survive.
Um, actually, Helia might not be the only feminine name in the group. Sky is a gender-neutral name, and therefore could be considered feminine.
Okay, I made a compromise with myself about this question. If someone gave this answer, I would count it. So technically you’re right…but I’m actually looking for something else.
I’m mildly frustrated with myself for not figuring this out by now. I, of all people, should know this one. I’ll keep thinking on it, though. 😉
Um actually, it was said that the specialist’s (and paladin’s) names relate to their winx girlfriends but it’s written that “The Old English name “Brandon” means “a hill covered in broom”. Together with Stella’s power source, the sun, it might paint a picture of the sun rising and setting over a hill. “Brandon” can also mean “prince”, and Stella is a princess” they didn’t relate Stella’s name’s meaning with Brandon’s name’s meaning instead they gave reference to her powers and that she is a princess. Also Helia isn’t the only feminine name here, Sky is also a name that can be a female’s name.
Wow, you changed a lot of stuff! ? Admittedly, the stuff about Brandon is more speculation than anything, as I don’t know for sure why Rainbow named him that. That’s why I included two possibilities. Also, technically, you’re right about Sky (as is Mollz), but that’s not the answer I’m looking for.
