“Um, Actually…” #3: Hint (+ Updated Statement)
Sounds like I’ve stumped you guys with this statement. Here it is again with an update. As you pointed out, my original wording was wonky when it came to the nature (haha!) of the weapons. I’ve changed it here.
In Winx season six, the Specialists and Paladins received magic weapons at the Lynphea College Arena. They release the power of elements and objects in nature, such as wind, earth, lightning, the sun, and the moon. Each weapon is completely different from the others with its own unique abilities. The guys each chose the weapon best suited to his strengths.
There’s still a mistake in the statement. I’ll give you a hint: think about scenes where the guys have used the weapons. You could even rewatch some of those scenes if you want to.
Good luck, and don’t forget to start your correction with the phrase “Um, actually”!
(Once again, I don’t think this is right, but what the heck?)
Um, actually, the show never explicitly says the weapons are magical. They probably are, and it would make a lot of sense for them to be magical, but it’s never said. For all we know, they’re just really advanced technology.
I think it’s implied that they’re magical. Also, I remember an article about season six that at least said Thoren and Nex’s weapons are. In fact, Nex is even referred to as a “magic warrior” in the Magico Amore activity book that came out a few years ago. We know he doesn’t have magic powers, so that makes sense only if they were talking about the weapon he wields.
So yeah, the weapons do seem to be magical.
Well the winx season 8 trailer has released
I watched it. It looked fine, but I’m not gonna watch the actual season. Still annoyed about Valtor and Riven being back, and the guys look strange. Also sad that they all now have generic lightsaber ripoff weapons. Plus, I looked in the comments and saw a “Roy was better than Nex” comment, as well as some “bring back seasons 1-4” stuff. I’ve had enough of these people.
I’m done. I’m just done with Winx and the Winx fandom. At another period in my life, I think I would have been happy about this trailer. But I can’t be happy about anything Winx anymore. I’m looking ahead now. I’ve got some things I wanna do.
okay well Valtor is a big criticism of the trailer for me
This whole season is screaming for Darkar to be the main villain. But no — it has to Valtor because he was more popular. Blatant pandering to the fandom instead of trying to write a logical story.
i have to agree this season feels like this should be the shadow phoenix being the one behind all this since it feels like something it would do to kill people
Valtor’s plan in season 8 is exactly same as his plan in season 3
Of course it is, because again, they’re just pandering to the fans. Rainbow doesn’t care if it makes or not, and neither does the Winx fandom. They’ll watch it because of Valtor and Riven.
yeah and do you think it will succeed in what its trying to do?
I don’t know. Probably.
yeah and as for Cosmix i’m honestly curious to see what this form can do
yeah and to me the trailer has raised questions
