Inktober Day #13: “Ship”

I almost drew a picture based on the universal fandom definition of ship, but I changed my mind. The word ship used that way has always had a negative connotation to me (especially right now). Most people use ship, pairing, and couple interchangeably, but I only call non-canon couples “ships.” Aisha and Nex are canon, so I call them a couple instead (or less often, a “pairing”).

I also never use ship as a verb with that definition. In other words, I don’t “ship” Aisha and Nex. I “love them together/as a couple”, “support them”, “enjoy them”, etc. “Ship them” just sounds so…I don’t even know how to describe it. I just hate it.

Anyway, I drew Aisha and Nex on an actual ship instead. Still can’t draw water. Working on it.
