Active Nouns

This edit was based on the “active noun” quote from Fred Rogers:

Love isn’t a state of perfect caring. It is an active noun like “struggle.” To love someone is to strive to accept that person exactly the way he or she is, right here and now — and to go on caring even through times that may bring us pain.

Based on scenes from Aisha and Nex’s love story so far, I picked out words that can be both nouns and verbs: play, dance, smile, love, etc. Why did I choose fight? Because they don’t always get along — and I don’t want them to. I want them to struggle sometimes but decide to love each other anyway.

No, I don’t mean like Musa and Riven: an on-again-off-again romance. I want Aisha and Nex’s relationship to be tested, but I want them to overcome the challenge together and grow stronger and closer. That’s true love.
